Griffin James

Griffin James - Branwell Brontë 

 

Griffin James is an actor, musician, director, and a co-founder of Unscathed Theatre. He trained at East 15 Acting School.

Recent stage work includes Games We Play (Pathway Theatre), Infernal: A Brontë Story (2024 - Room One Theatre Co) Match Day and Boxed (Unscathed Theatre), as well as pantomimes with LADA. He’s also a member of the alternative rock band DoubleA, and co-directed their music video I Love to Dance (2019). 

 

Between 2012 and 2016, Griffin appeared in ten productions at Incognito Theatre, concluding with Polly Teale’s Brontë, directed by Sonja Taylor, where he first played Branwell. He is delighted to return to the Incogs stage, this time reprising the role in Harry Harding’s new play.  “I’m thrilled to bring Branwell to life again — especially on this stage, where I made so many memories, learned so much, and first stepped into his shoes.”

Jessica Ivy

JESSICA IVY - EMILY Brontë

Jessica is an actress, flautist, and dancer who proudly hales from the beautiful county of Suffolk.

 

She trained at Drama Studio London and since graduating has performed in multiple UK tours and theatre shows.

 

Recent theatre credits include Mad Hatters Tea Party (Brother Wolf), Redwater (OSO Barnes), Lifeline (ADC Cambridge) and Imperfect Storms (Norwich Theatre Royal).

Katie HART - CHARLOTTE Brontë 

KATIE is delighted to be reprising her role of Charlotte Brontë in Infernal: A Brontë Story in 2025.

 

She is a Scottish actor, singer, and VO artist who trained at RADA and East 15.

Cara Heal

CARA HEAL - ANNE Brontë

Cara is a British-Irish actor, singer, writer, and co-artistic director of Nonsense Theatre.

She trained at Laine Theatre Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts before completing her MA in Acting at Mountview.

 

Her performance work spans a wide range of styles including Shakespeare, children’s theatre, immersive and improvised theatre, and television.

Recent credits include: Mary & George (Sky), If Music Be the Food of Love (All The World’s A Stage), Aladdin (Stage-Ed), and The Retreat (Room One Theatre Company)

Jed McLoughlin

JED MCLOUGHLIN - PATRICK Brontë/JOSEPH LEYLAND 

JEd is an actor, writer, cabaret artist, and co-artistic director of Nonsense Theatre. 

 

He trained at Kingston School of Art and has gone on to perform in many theatrical disciplines including: Improvisation, Immersive, Commedia Dell'arte, Children's Theatre, Shakespeare and Farce.
